Does net-billing 2026 still pay off?
Yes — though for PV-only without storage, payback has extended by 1-2 years. For businesses with >60% self-consumption (manufacturing, logistics, daytime retail), PV still pays back in 5-8 years. With BESS and reactive compensation, ROI returns to 4-6 years. Full calculation depends on tariff and load profile.
What grants are currently available?
For businesses in 2026: FENG (European Funds for Modern Economy) — up to 70% of qualified costs in some calls, Energia Plus (NFOŚiGW), regional ROP programmes. For SMEs there are also BGK grants and preferential loans. We help select and prepare the application.
How long from audit to commissioning?
Typically 12-16 weeks: 30-day audit → 2-week design → DSO notification and approval 4-6 weeks → equipment delivery 2-3 weeks → installation 1-2 weeks → commissioning. For small installations (up to 50 kWp) we can fit into 8 weeks.
Do you work under TAURON / PGE / Enea / Energa?
Yes, all five Polish DSOs (TAURON, PGE, Enea, Energa, Stoen). We handle the entire notification procedure, including micro-installations (up to 50 kWp) and larger business installations.
What warranties for PV and BESS?
PV panels: 25-year linear power warranty + 12-15 year product warranty. Inverters: 10-12 years (extendable to 20). BESS LFP: 10 years / 6,000 cycles (≥80% capacity retention). All equipment from KENO Energy catalogue with CE/EU certificates.
Can I finance via leasing or PPA?
Yes. We work with 3 leasing providers specialising in renewables (60-84 month terms, 10% downpayment). For larger installations we also offer a PPA model — we install at our cost, you buy energy at a fixed price below the regulated tariff for 10-15 years.
How is LFP BESS different from older technologies?
LFP (LiFePO₄) offers 2-3× longer cycle life (~6,000 vs ~2,000 NMC), full thermal safety (no thermal runaway risk), 90-100% DoD (vs 80% NMC) and stable operation from -20°C to +60°C. Cost per kWh is now comparable to NMC. For stationary applications, LFP is the standard.
Do you handle reactive power compensation in B23?
Yes — it is our speciality. In B23, inductive and capacitive reactive power fees can be 10-20% of the bill. A 30-day audit with a 4-quadrant meter shows the source, and a compensator (fixed/automatic capacitor banks, SVG for fluctuations) eliminates the charge. Typical payback is 8-18 months.
What is peak shaving and how does it work?
Peak shaving = reducing short-term peak power drawn from the grid using a BESS that discharges during demand peaks. For businesses with power-based tariffs (above 40 kW contracted power), this reduces the power fee by 15-30%. The BESS is controlled by SCADA that detects rising peaks and automatically discharges from storage.
How much does the 30-day audit cost?
The first conversation and preliminary online analysis are free. A 30-day audit with a grid analyser costs PLN 2,800 – 4,200 net (depending on number of metering points). The amount is 100% deducted from the installation price if you choose to proceed with us.
